About Us

I decided 15 years ago that Sport and Exercise would become a big part of my life. My passion lay in the area of fitness, exercise motivation, and exercise adherence. As a beginning cyclist and triathlete, I found that my motivation and adherence to exercise were challenges that I needed to meet head on in order to excel.

The success in working on my own motivation adherence and goal setting led resulted in a 10-year journey which allowed me to reach heights I had never thought possible, especially well into my 30's.

Along with being selected for the the United States World Championship Mountain Biking Team in the year 2000, I also raced for several years all over the US on the Schwinn Pro/Semi-Pro Cycling Team.

The most amazing part of this journey was the realization that the principles I applied with my own challenges to exercise motivation, adherence and goal setting were the same recipe for success that my grandmother, sister and friends could use to achieve their goals for exercising regularly and improving their quality of life.

I then decided to continue learning more about the area of exercise and motivation by returning to school. I went back to college and earned my Degree in Psychology and Sport. Most of my studies emphasized areas that are key to understanding the dynamics of exercise motivation, adherence and how to best tailor successful exercise programs for others.

I did my internship helping fitness centers design programs and interactive questionnaires to help both staff and clients, along with working on helping clients successfully achieve their fitness goals.

I then became a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Trainer. This was important for me to help individuals in many areas of Health and Fitness.

I soon started working as a fitness professional and an exercise equipment consultant. With the opportunity to focus on helping every type of individual from the elite athlete to the occasional exerciser, I quickly realized my strengths and passion was greater for me while working with average people with real life challenges.
